Our UNIVERSAL DOOR SYSTEM^® offers the ultimate X-Ray protection from radiation when the door is closed. The imperative lead lining is located in the core of the door. Whereas, the UNIVERSAL DOOR FRAME^® is a special design metallic frame made of aluminium which was created by our engineers.

The frame is designed to be used both as a standard door frame or to be transformed into an X-Ray protective frame that can house lead strips in special compartments in the most sensitive areas that radiation leaks must be prevented and it is reinforced to support the load of the lead shielded door.

The frame is extruded by ALUMIL S.A.

Any one of our UNIVERSAL DOOR FRAMES^® that is used in standard Hospital Door installations can be transformed on location into a radiation protection frame in order to accommodate a lead lined door.

With our UNIVERSAL DOOR SYSTEM^® we can offer hinged doors, automatic or manual, oversize, double or single.

An alternative solution to the access of an X-Ray room is our sliding doors. Depending on the size and protection, their motion is either manual or motorized. Their sliding motion is assured on a smooth heavy-duty noise free monorail.

Sliding X-Ray shielded Operating Theatre doors are also available. Protective leaded glass can be inserted into the door to provide viewing area.
